Angel Tots Early Learning Centre
Angel Tots operates from 7am – 6pm, 50 weeks of the year. Our Service closes for all National Public Holidays and two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. Dates for closure are advised well in advance to allow parents plenty of time to plan.
All children starting at Angel Tots and their families are encouraged to conduct a minimum of one (1) orientation visit before they leave their child in our care. These visits allow your child to become familiar with the environment they will be in and the staff that will be caring for them. They also allow you to share important information with us such as, routines about your child. The more comfortable you are in the centre the quicker your child will settle.
Tours of the Angel Tots facilities are welcomed, please call our office on (02) 4984 6846 to make an appointment.

Child Care Benefit/Rebate
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment made by the Commonwealth Government to help families with the cost of quality child care. A family’s eligibility is subject to an income test, which is administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
It is the responsibility of the parent to register for Child Care Benefit. Information and forms can be accessed from the DHS Office (through Centrelink) or families can call direct on 136 150. With the introduction of the Government’s Child Care Management System (CCMS), families will receive a CCB fee reduction only if they have registered with Centrelink, are eligible for CCB, have a formal enrolment at the centre and the centre has received confirmation from the Government pertaining to the percentage of CCB they are eligible for. If parents are not eligible for CCB, full fees must be paid. Most families are also entitled to at least 50% Child Care Rebate (CCR), which can be paid directly to the Centre, further reducing your fees. Please check if you are entitled to this rebate with the DHS.
What to Bring
Families are asked to provide a lunch box with their child’s lunch and snacks for the day. Please ensure that your child’s lunch box is nutritious and follows our “Provide Food from Home Policy”.
Suggestions for your child’s lunch box would be:
- Sandwich or wrap
- At least one piece of fruit (one piece of fruit can be placed in the fruit basket to share with other children for morning tea)
- Piklets, muffins, home-made goodies
- Please do not supply chocolate, chips, lollies and other obviously unhealthy food alternatives
Please note that our service is a NUT FREE Service, so we ask that you do not provide any products that may contact nuts for the safety of the children that are violently allergic to nuts.
A broad-brim, sun safe hat is also required each day for play outside. Please bring a hat each day regardless of the weather.
